2021 Season Booking Terms

Strongarbh House remains closed and we are not accepting new bookings at this time.

These terms are made available for reference for any bookings previously taken for this period. Please contact us directly for any further enquiries.

  • A two night minimum stay applies.
  • We are only currently accepting bookings for Sea View Double/Twin and Garden View Double rooms. The Standard Double may be added at a later date.

General Terms

  • Rates are per night based on a maximum of two people sharing a double/twin and include breakfast and afternoon tea.
  • We welcome children over 12.
  • We are unable to accept pets.
  • Strongarbh House is a non-smoking environment.
  • Check-in from 4pm.
  • Check-out by 10.30am.

Deposit and Payment

  • A valid credit or debit card must be provided at the time of booking.
  • We will charge a deposit of 50% of the total booking value to the card provided before confirming your booking.
  • The final balance is usually settled at check out and is also payable by credit or debit card.


For advance bookings, and prior to 2021 season opening, our standard cancellation policy will apply:

  • For cancellations made more than one month (30 days) prior to date of arrival, deposits are refunded, less a 5% administration fee.
  • For cancellations less than one month prior to stay, or modifications at the time of stay, including early departure, 100% of the total booking cost will be charged unless room(s) can be re-let.

Should the context in Summer 2021 still require increased cancellation flexibility, we will revise these terms to include more flexible and shorter-term cancellation periods. We will notify you of any changes to this policy via email. Information will also be updated on this page.

Service Amendments

Due to ongoing uncertainties, we reserve the right to amend the service offered or to cancel your booking should circumstances make this necessary.

  • If we amend the service in any significant way, we will communicate any changes to you in writing and provide options for you to accept or decline the revised offer.
  • In the event that we are required to cancel your booking, we will notify you at the earliest possible opportunity and your deposit payment will be refunded in full.

We of course hope that none of the above are necessary but your understanding is very much appreciated.
